Bjorn Roos is an associate who brings a litigation background to his corporate and commercial work for O&A’s clients. Bjorn’s corporate practice primarily involves O&A’s Startup Program, where he assists in multi-state entity formation and compliance, debt and equity financing, and corporate governance and management structuring. At O&A, Bjorn’s commercial projects have included intellectual property licensing and confidentiality agreements, as well as drafting key agreements for the wide variety of companies in O&A’s Startup Program.
Before joining O&A, Bjorn worked as an associate attorney at a consumer litigation law firm in Beverly Hills where he advocated on behalf of clients in all aspects of litigation, including bench trials, motions practice, arbitration, and depositions. Bjorn received his J.D. from Loyola Law School Los Angeles where he fulfilled an Intellectual Property Concentration with honors and served as Production Editor of The Loyola of Los Angeles International and Comparative Law Review. Prior to law school, Bjorn earned his B.A. in Psychology and Social Behavior from the University of California, Irvine, where he graduated cum laude and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
Bjorn is admitted to practice law in the State of California and is a member of the Beverly Hills Bar Association, Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Litigation, Business Law, and Entertainment Law and Intellectual Property Law Sections, and Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles. When he’s not in the office, Bjorn is taking care of his two dogs, Finn and Sophie, doing home renovations, or riding his motorcycle through LA traffic.
