Feb. 25, 2019 – O&A is thrilled to announce that Tyler Morant has joined the growing venture and corporate law firm as an associate attorney. Tyler specializes in startups, technology, intellectual property, corporate and commercial transactions, and athletes and marketing.
On the addition of Tyler to the firm’s technology- and content-oriented practice, O&A Founder and Managing Partner, Dan Offner, said: “We are delighted to have such a talented lawyer, entrepreneur, and athlete like Tyler Morant join our team at O&A. Tyler graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. Prior to attending law school, Tyler pursued his passion for sports as a professional skier. After retiring from professional competition, he shifted his focus to helping others achieve their dreams as a coach and agent for X Games and Olympic gold-medal athletes in skiing, snowboarding, BMX, and skateboarding.
Hoping to assist and represent his athletes in a greater capacity, Tyler enrolled in Southwestern Law School in 2012. Tyler received his JD in 2014 as a participant in Southwestern Law’s selective SCALE two-year accelerated program.
Tyler began his legal career as General Counsel and Director of Business Development at GNARBOX. He then opened his own law practice in 2016. Here Tyler combined his knowledge and experience in sports and law as he successfully represented sports agencies, athletes, marketing agencies, and technology startups.
With his diverse professional background, Tyler joins O&A as an associate attorney. Tyler lends his experience with startups, technology, intellectual property, and corporate transactions to the firm’s clients proceeding through StartupProgram.com.
