Beagle Services Inc., represented by O&A, P.C., closed up to $5 million in Series A equity financing in July, reaching a key milestone in its growth as a software-as-a-service plumbing business.
Private equity firm Singh Capital Partners, based in Potomac, Md., led the Series A round, joined by Series Seed investors and others.
Licensed in 13 different states, Beagle is one of the largest corporate-owned plumbing companies in the United States. The Company’s goal is to wholly modernize plumbing services, with offerings such as teleplumbing, smart water sensors, and leak detection using IoT technology, in addition to providing all aspects of traditional plumbing services.
O&A represented Beagle in the Series A, negotiating on behalf of the company while drafting all transaction documents pursuant to the deal term sheet, creating the Series A Capitalization Table, and organizing all aspects of closing, prior to handling all relevant securities compliance.
O&A Senior Associate Attorneys Kevin Pasternak and Stephen Bush led the firm’s team with support from Associate Attorney Nicholas Ramos. Also key in completing the deal were Associate Attorneys Andrew Yang and Claudia Herrera, as well as the support staff at O&A.
