O&A closes $8.2 million Series A deal for social media innovator Interlace Inc.

O&A, P.C., client Interlace Inc., creator of an innovative online dating platform, has raised $8.2 million in a Series A round led by investor Paradigm.

O&A negotiated and papered the Series A terms, and closed the deal for Interlace. The company, founded by Paari Kandappan, chief executive officer and Lisa Luo, secretary, has been an O&A client since 2019. O&A previously helped Interlace complete its Series Seed funding and has worked with the company on other commercial matters.

Leading the Series A deal team for O&A were Associate Attorneys Sharthak Mukhopadhyay and Andrew Yang, with guidance from Managing Partner Dan Offner and Partner Michael Borenstein. Associate Attorneys Liana Minassian and Vivian Le, along with Paralegals Aaron Kunitomo and Mayra Ramsey, also helped with the deal, which closed June 30.

“It’s always great to help an innovative company like Interlace move to the next level,” Mukhopadhyay said. “I look forward to seeing how they grow and expand the product after securing this latest round of financing.”

“Just wanted to say thank you from both myself and Lisa to all of you on the O&A team for guiding us through this deal,” Kandappan said. “We always feel like we’re in good hands when we work with you!”
