O&A Client Daniel Singer Raises $850,000 to Launch Panda

Social Capital, Afore Capital, and Cyan Banister invest in the seed round

Los Angeles, Calif. (June 7, 2018) — O&A, P.C., a rapidly expanding venture and corporate law firm for technology and content, is pleased to announce that startup client Panda, founded by 18-year-old CEO Daniel Singer, has secured $850,000 from Social Capital, Afore Capital, and angel investor Cyan Banister.

Panda launches its application today, which offers a unique, individualized form of visual communication, using augmented reality and speech recognition. When using the Panda application, one’s spoken words trigger visual effects in an expressive combination of voice and AR. As described by Singer, “Panda lets you talk with superpowers!”

This innovative application, which TechCrunch has called “surprising and delightful,” takes advantage of the new AR capabilities and enhanced group chatting features that Apple is heavily investing in for its latest iOS devices. Panda hopes to build on this momentum as it paves a space in social media and visual communication.

“We congratulate Daniel on his latest raise and product debut,” said Dan Offner, Founder and Managing Partner at O&A, which represents Panda. “It’s remarkable to note that Daniel is 18 years old and, yet, this is his fourth successful product launch.”

Panda’s application is available on Apple Inc.’s App Store for iOS devices.
